Pretty much all countries require a visa, except nationals from Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Democratic Republic Sahraoui, Seychelles, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia and Yemen.

Algeria is one of the more difficult countries to gain entry to;
According to the official website, you need to obtain a visa at the embassy closest to your home country, and you need to provide proof of a hotel reservation. It appears that most visa issuing posts aren't following these antique laws, but beware they might still exist in some outpost.
